The Chief Minister has admitted he doesn’t know what some MHKs have been doing since Tynwald broke for the summer.
Tynwald went into recess in July and won’t meet again until October.
Allan Bell says during this time he expects politicians to continue working however he says there are many backbench MHKs who he won’t see for the duration of the break.
He says it provides a good chance to see who is showing commitment and playing an active role in their department and who is having an 'easy life':
