The Ardwhallan Outdoor Education Centre in West Baldwin will not close permanently, an MHK has confirmed.
Education Department member, Ann Corlett MHK, made the statement in the House of Keys this week - the facility shut down this week due to what it called 'difficult changes' over the last two years.
Mrs Corlett also stated a review of the centre is being carried out and also gave an update on the status of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
A further announcement is also expected to be made by the charity in due course.
