Approval is being sought on altered plans for a new sports centre in the South of the Island.
The application to create a sports complex on the fields at King Williams College would involve a 50m swimming pool, 60m running track, sports hall and gym with training facilities as well as parking.
it's similar to a previous planning proposal made in October 2019, however some alterations have since been made following discussions which arose from the first set of plans.
Among the changes, there's no longer proposals to have shops at the venue and ideas for a 'transport hub' have also been scrapped which will reduce possible impact on nearby roads.
Those behind the application believe the facilities will be able to attract elite athletes and could also support recent hospital patients who're looking to improve their fitness.
