A planning officer has recommended a dozen telegraph poles in Peel for fibre broadband be given permission.
Manx Telecom wants the poles in Links Close, Cronk Reayrt and Bellevue Park to carry fibre lines it says can't be buried underground.
In a report from due to be considered by the planning committee next week, the three applications - making a total of 12 poles - have been recommended for approval.
The planning committee sits on Monday, September 15.
