All first-year university or college students due to start their courses in September can now apply for maintenance grants.
That's according to government, which also says if you have concerns about your provisional place for the 2020/21 academic year to contact the institution you're hoping to attend directly.
Education, Sport & Culture Minister, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, states the DESC 'is doing everything it can during these unprecedented times to make sure Isle of Man students receive the help and support they need'.
Applications can be made via the link available here - meanwhile, students continuing their studies will be contacted by the DESC at a later date with details on how and when they can sign up.
