People with valid PPV licenses are again being invited to apply to work during the bus strike.
The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure is asking Manx workers who are available on Thursday to come forward.
Union bosses confirmed earlier last week that a second strike would go ahead as the row over bus drivers’ pay continues.
During three days of industrial action before Christmas the department employed a number of qualified casual staff.
