The Isle Of Man Samaritans have launched an appeal looking for new volunteers.
Tonight, there’s a ‘no obligation’ night where people can find out more about the service.
The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day so they’re constantly in need of more people to help listen to callers.
Training is provided and members are only asked to give up a couple of hours a week.
Clive Dugdale told us it’s an important time to recruit. (audio above).
Tonight’s meeting is at is being held at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Douglas at 7.30pm.
Anyone unable to make the meeting can call 251505 for further details.
