The warning comes as they plan a crack down on people with outstanding charges, specifically those that have turned into fine warrants.
They will be out in force over the next two weeks enforcing any warrants across the division.
Those who do not pay the outstanding amounts in full will be liable for immediate arrest and imprisonment.
All those wishing to resolve outstanding matters are urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
