An annual event to celebrate the life of the founder of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution will take place in Douglas this weekend.
On Sunday, St George's Church will hold the annual ceremony honouring the memory of Sir William Hillary.
He founded the RNLI, then known as the National Institution for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck, in 1824 and is buried in St George's churchyard.
The service will start at 3pm on Sunday.
