The Island's amenity sites have issued a joint statement to clarify their position during the current lockdown.
All four locations on Island are shut with officials at all of them stating they take measures around Covid-19 'very seriously' and that the safety of customers and staff is at the heart of any decisions they make.
Meanwhile, they add taking in to account the current spread rate of the 'highly infectious Kent variant' they took the only choice available which was to close off the facilities until further notice.
Those in charge also say they understand people's frustration and confusion, but infection rates will continue to be monitored and the gates will be reopened as soon as it's safe to do so.
