The Eastern Civic Amenity Site has temporarily closed today, Douglas Borough Council has confirmed.
The authority says its due to the facility being at full capacity and skips needing to be emptied.
Officials say it's hoped the site can reopen later today.
The council is apologising for any inconvenience caused.
