An ambulance driver will face a summary court trial after denying careless driving.
59 year old Kenneth Martin Blackburn of Westbourne Drive in Douglas was driving the Mercedes Sprinter on October 24 last year when it hit a tree near a stop sign on South Drive in Strang.
The ambulance was on its way to Accident & Emergency carrying a patient at the time.
A trial will be held before magistrates on October 21.
