Forecasters have issued a second weather warning today.
Ronaldsway Met Office says the amber warning runs from 7.35pm until 11.35pm tonight.
Strong winds, a rough sea and high tides could mean coastal overtopping in some areas.
Most likely to be affected are Shore Road in Rushen, and promenades in Castletown, Laxey, Ramsey and Douglas.
