An amber weather warning for coastal overtopping and inner harbour flooding will come into force this morning.
The warning is in place from 10:30am to 2pm.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says conditions will be at their worst around high tide at 12:30pm.
Areas most at risk include Shore Road Rushen, and Castletown, Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.
Christian Street, West Street and East Street in Ramsey are all closed until 2:30pm due to flood risks.
