Amanda Walker has announced her intention to stand Douglas East at this year's General Election.
The former high school history teacher said she's lived in the constituency for more than 20-years.
Among her priorities are the environment, rebuilding the economy, education and health.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday, 23 September.
