Only two in five driving tests results in a pass, according to the Island's infrastructure minister.
Michelle Haywood faced a question for written response from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about the number of tests each year as well as the pass rate.
Dr Haywood said in 2022, people took 2,324 tests, with 46 per cent passing.
So far this year, drivers have taken 1,681 tests - but the pass rate is just 43 per cent.
