Nearly 200 people have signed a petition objecting to new parking plans in Ramsey.
An online petition was been set up after the Department of Infrastructure revealed 60 on-street parking spaces would be removed from East and West Quay as part of a regeneration scheme.
It is part of a £4m government plan to redevelop the town's quayside.
Those behind the petition say Ramsey's unique selling point is the availability of free, on-street parking, adding the changes may well affect businesses in the town.
