A trip to the Sound to 'clear his head' landed a driver in court after he allegedly crashed three times.
Marc Duncan of Ballaughton Lane in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
Mr Duncan entered no plea after being charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop following an accident and driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court Mr Duncan drove his Vauxhall Vivaro to the Sound around midnight on Monday, February 12.
But on the return journey he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a wall in Port Erin before hitting a concrete traffic island in Ballasalla and allegedly running over a roundabout damaging a tyre.
The case was adjourned until February 27 and Mr Duncan was bailed in the sum of £500.
