A Scottish man’s been remanded in custody, accused of trying to smuggle £200,000 of cocaine into the Island.
Russell Armit Nelson Collins of Kirkland Drive in Kelloholm appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse charged with producing the class A drug and possessing it with intent to supply it at the Sea Terminal on May 22.
He hasn’t yet entered pleas to the charges, and his advocate Louise Cooil asked for the case to be adjourned while a psychiatric report is prepared.
There was no bail application and magistrates remanded Mr Collins to the Isle of Man prison until his next court appearance on August 29.
