A local charity says allegations of theft are completely false.
The Manx SPCA says claims on social media made by another Manx charity - the Mann Cat Sanctuary are completely untrue.
The organisation says it's been accused of stealing a trap belonging to the sanctuary, which is used to catch feral cats.
However, the MSPCA says the trap was swiftly handed back to the Sanctuary as a gesture of goodwill.
The charity says it's currently considering the legal position relating to this matter, and if the police get in touch it'll co-operate fully.
