DOY Wokers Trying To Make Sure School Routes Are Clear For Tomorrow
It’s been confirmed that all main routes across the isle of man are now secure to drive on.
The department of transport have been working throughout the night gritting all of the major routes – most are passable with care.
The only exception to that is the mountain road.
The gritters are putting in massive efforts to try and make sure schools are able to re-open tomorrow and that buses can operate to their normal schedule.
They will be working from the bigger schools down, clearing the routes and also gritting pavements so that they are safer for school children to walk on.
