The All Island test of the public warning siren systems will take place this weekend.
Sirens at 31 sites across the Island will sound a steady note of 30 seconds on Saturday at 11AM.
If it were a real emergency the sound would continue for a further two and a half minutes.
The public are being reminded its just a routine quarterly test to make sure all of the warning sirens are working.
