The Isle of Man's census will be taking place in March.
Every household will have to fill in a questionnaire which is completed every five years.
The last one showed the Island has a population of 80,058.
Treasury Minister Anne Craine said the exercise is to gather a full and accurate picture of the island’s population.
Completed results for the 2011 census are expected to be available early next year.
