Manx brewery Okells has struck gold in a UK based national beer competition.
Out of the original 200 entries 16 were selected by a panel of experts following a blind tasting session.
The overall winner was determined by the panel’s opinion and the beers consumer popularity, with the Island’s entry, Dr Okells IPA selling nearly forty thousand bottles.
Competition sponsor Sainsbury’s supermarket will be stocking the brew in time for Christmas.
