The Island's Treasury Minister says he hopes a former school in Ramsey will be put to good use before too long.
In the House of Keys yesterday Alf Cannan faced questions from Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson about Albert Road School - which has lain unused since it was demolished in 2011.
Mr Cannan said a planning application had been lodged for housing and shops on the site, but planning approval hasn't yet been granted.
He said he hoped work could begin soon - but acknowledged it had been a slow process:
Record number of seal pups recorded
Proposed laws could mean free period products
Unemployment fell slightly last month
GP waiting times to be raised in House of Keys tomorrow
Waves higher than predicted on crossing which damaged cars
Spitfire flights to be launched from Ronaldsway
