The airport says its airfield is currently closed because of a staff shortage.
Isle of Man Airport posted to Facebook to say that its Air Traffic Control team has multiple Covid illnesses and so the airfield will have a delayed opening.
It says despite best efforts to find staff to cover, five team members are off sick and apologise to passengers experiencing delays to flights.
A further update will be given from the airport at 7.30am, if not before.
