Money sent to help Syrian refugees was available due to an underspend in last year's Budget.
That's according to Chief Minister Howard Quayle who's clarified where the government's £973,000 donation came from:
The money was handed over in February to fund relief efforts.
In the House of Keys this week Mr Quayle was quizzed on whether funding for other aid organisations had been reduced as a result - something he disputed.
He was also quizzed by varying MHKs as to why the decision had been taken to donate it to one body:
