Keep your dog under control on the beach!
That's the message from Laxey Commissioners after two incidents in recent weeks when dogs threatened children.
The board took to Facebook to say the vast majority of owners keep their pets under control, but visitors with children took refuge in the sea after being harassed by aggressive and threatening dogs.
In the post - which has now been deleted - the local authority said the dogs clearly weren't under control - which is illegal under the Dogs Act - and it'll pass the details on to police.
