A Glen Vine man has appeared in court over a street brawl after a family wedding.
32 year old Nathan Thomas Kelly of Bollan Drive appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week.
The court heard Kelly had been arguing with his girlfriend in the early hours of July 23.
It was after a family wedding and relatives of his girlfriend attempted to intervene.
Guests restrained him, but Kelly head-butted the bride's father, inflicting a cut lip and broken tooth.
Kelly pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm, but denied assaulting another of his girlfriend's family.
A pre-trial review on that allegation will take place on October 3 - he was bailed until that date.
