A business on the Isle of Man has raised thousands for a local charity.
Two adventurers from KPMG Isle of Ma braved a 6 day trek in the Vietnam jungle to raise nearly £6,000 for Junior Achievement (JA) Isle of Man.
Simon Nicholas and Elaine McCormack took on the 58 mile challenge, starting at the city of Hanoi and travelling through jungle, rice fields and remote villages in southeast Hanoi.
Simon says 'The trek was a challenge of a lifetime' but he'd do it again 'in a heart beat.'
KPMG staff were invited to purchase felt tip pens to be handed out to children in the villages, where such supplies are difficult or impossible to source.
Through their generous donations, more than 200 pens were handed out at a local nursery and fun was had drawing before returning to the trek once more.
