Manx Care has congratulated mental health workers who have passed the advanced stage of a programme for the first time on-Island.
Seven trainees took part in the Wellness and Recovery Action Plan course, who can now provide WRAP Level 1 training themselves.
Those involved were from Manannan Court, the Community Mental Health Service for Adults, the Older Persons Mental Health Service and Experts by Experience.
It’s the first time the Integrated Mental Health Service has had its own WRAP facilitators and is a personalised practical framework which helps patients overcome mental health symptoms and unhelpful behaviour patterns.
