Those deemed as 'vulnerable' will get up to £100 to help heat their homes.
The measures were announced by Treasury Minister David Ashford in Tynwald last month.
The payment will automatically be given to people throughout March - including those on Income Support, Employed Person's Allowance and Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance.
