Addiction service Motiv8 has reassured the public that it's well set up to cope with people seeking drug counselling and advice.
Motiv8 was formerly known as the Isle of Man Alcohol Advisory Service and has come under fire from some MHKs who claim it wouldn't be able to provide the same level of service as the drugs charity DASH.
Director Thea Ozenturk says such claims are unfounded and they’ve even taken on a new member of staff to bolster that specific branch of the service:
