Castletown commissioners are calling for action on the car park at the town's railway station.
The local authority took to Twitter this week to complain about the space, which is pitted with potholes.
The board describes the car park as "a shameful first impression for visitors".
It's asking the Department of Infrastructure to carry out work before the summer season sees regular services on the steam trains.
Dear @iombusandrail @iominfra do you have any plans to undertake repairs to the station carpark before regular services restart. It’s a shameful first impression for visitors to our town ? #joinedupgovernment pic.twitter.com/rl6YW74CRJ
