With months of advanced bookings thoughts now move to how people booked into Mount Murray Hotel will be accommodated.
The hotel was seriously damaged due to a fire yesterday which started on the roof of the connected accommodation building.A blaze quickly developed devastating a large portion of the entire structure.
It’s a major blow to the Island as the hotel also serves as a function venue.
Head of tourism Angela Byrne says they will do all they can to help re-accommodate people who had made advanced bookings:
