Accommodation help for Mount Murray guests

With months of advanced bookings thoughts now move to how people booked into Mount Murray Hotel will be accommodated.

The hotel was seriously damaged due to a fire yesterday which started on the roof of the connected accommodation building.

A blaze quickly developed devastating a large portion of the entire structure.

It’s a major blow to the Island as the hotel also serves as a function venue.

Head of tourism Angela Byrne says they will do all they can to help re-accommodate people who had made advanced bookings:
