Women will have access to abortion on Island by Friday, May 24.
The date was revealed in today's sitting of Tynwald by Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford.
Although full details haven't yet been outlined, he said 'appropriate' and 'full services' will be available from the end of that month.
However, Mr Ashford did state complex scenarios may still require women to travel off-Island.
It's also been confirmed the entire abortion act will come into force on the same day, as opposed to gradually.
