Campaigners hoping to change the Island's abortion laws say they're hopeful the Department of Health and Social care will consult widely over the issue.
Last week a Freedom of Information request from 3FM showed the department hasn't asked doctors and nurses on the Island for their views.
Stephanie Kelsey from the Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation says she was surprised by the news after Health Minister Kate Beecroft told Tynwald there was no evidence change would be beneficial.
Stephanie says medical staff will have a valuable contribution to make to the debate:
Six new buses to replace 14 year old ones
Record number of seal pups recorded
Proposed laws could mean free period products
Unemployment fell slightly last month
GP waiting times to be raised in House of Keys tomorrow
Waves higher than predicted on crossing which damaged cars
Spitfire flights to be launched from Ronaldsway
