A teenager's walked free from court after prosecutors dropped a case over an alleged assault.
17 year old Lennon Ballard of Ballachrink Drive in Onchan had appeared in court to deny causing actual bodily harm.
A hearing at Douglas Courthouse was told prosecutors had reviewed the case after someone else had admitted assault and it wasn't in the public interest to proceed because a vulnerable victim would have to give evidence at a trial.
The charge was dismissed.
