Emergency services have been praised for their swift and effective response to a road crash that claimed the life of a young girl.
10-year-old Alexis French died on Saturday after her family's car collided with a bus on the Castletown bypass.Her father and brother have been transferred to hospitals in the UK for further treatment - her mother is being treated at Noble's.
A and E consultant Maric Thorpe explained why the public were asked to stay away from the hospital in the hours following the incident:
