The Isle of Man government has donated more than £85,600 to a charity project in Kenya.
Excellent Development has been given the money to builf four sand dams in the Ukambani region, which suffers from severe water shortages.
Sand dams are built across river channels to capture rain water for drinking and argiculture.
The project will cost a total of £143,000 and is expected to be completed over two years.
