A Manx horror classic will be out in some UK cinemas tomorrow before a restored version is released on blu-ray next week.
The Quatermass Xperiment - which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year - was written by Nigel Kneale and produced by Hammer Films after it first appeared as a BBC series.
He chose the name of the lead character Professor Quatermass in honour of the Isle of Man, saying many surnames here began with a Q and U.
The movie has been digitally restored and will be available to buy next Monday, June 9.
