The new rate means a rise of 74p per week for a typical three bedroom property in the town.
Commissioners say the continued impact of the pandemic on material costs has contributed to the increase.
Ramsey Commissioners has announced it will live streaming Board meetings in the new financial year to boost transparency and public engagement.
