New figures from the Treasury show more than 60 people have been prosecuted for not declaring benefits to the taxman in the last five years.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper asked for the figures in a question for written reply to Treasury Minister Alex Allinson.
Dr Allinson said since 2020, 66 people were taken to court - and another 528 were given other sanctions.
Both figures have shown a steady rise.
