Manx Care has paid out more than £120,000 a month in compensation so far this financial year.
The figures were given in response to a freedom of information request about the total amount paid out by the organisation.
In its response, it said it had already given figures for the last five years after a previous FOI request.
But it said between April and August this year, it had paid out £578,219 after medical omissions and malpractice complaints.
