New £500,000 plans to reinforce sea defences in Douglas have been put forward.
An application has been lodged to build a 500m long reinforced concrete wall along at Harris Promenade.
It would be attached to the sea wall currently in place and would be just over one metre high.
The initial designs were opposed by Douglas Borough Council due to a lack of significant environmental impact and flood risk assessments and that they would restrict views of the bay for young children and those in wheelchairs.
