The Island’s engineering and construction industries are set to be heavily invested in with the creation of new training facilities.
The Department of Education and Children is seeking approval from Tynwald of just shy of £5 million to modernise and upgrade their respective training units.
Under the proposals the Water Authority treatment works next to the main college would serve as an additional facility.
A proposed second phase of works would also start in September next year.
