A woman’s appeared before magistrates, accused of being drunk in charge of a six year old child.
Marie Redmond Roberts of Tynwald Road in Willaston appeared at Douglas Courthouse, where she denied the charge.
The hearing was told she’s alleged to have committed the crime in Marks and Spencer in Douglas on December 22.
Magistrates bailed her in the sum of £250 and Miss Roberts will appear again on June 20 for a pre- trial review.
