Home Affairs Minister Jane Poole-Wilson says she can't give figures for how many parking offences there have been - because many aren't dealt with by police.
She faced a question for written reply from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about the number of parking offences in the past three months and how they'd been dealt with.
Mrs Poole-Wilson said police had 43 calls about parking - 39 of those ended with no further action while four were given fixed penalties by officers.
Another four cars were spotted with out of date tax - they were seized, with two owners given a caution and two reported for summons.
