Police say there have been 42 reports of sex crimes in the first six months of this year.
The Isle of Man Constabulary gave the figures in response to a freedom of information request.
They point out not all reports end in someone being charged or convicted, and some cases may still be going through the courts.
Of the reported crimes, 33 are against women - of those, eight were committed against under-age girls.
