Douglas Council says it's negotiating with a local football club about £40,000 worth of improvements needed to its pitch.
The Noble's Park football pitch is uneven and sloping, and needs work to repair it.
Douglas and District has been forced to share pitches at Pulrose because of the state of its home turf - and work to fix problems will cost £40,000.
